...are for the real kind of reading...
and the pretend kind of reading.
I have found that a room full of quiet boys reading for a great cause
is the perfect appetizer for a nice little nap.
Sunday afternoons can always be for reading, but they are most definitely for napping.
Can I get an "Amen" and maybe even a "Preach it Sista?"

Preach it Sista! :)
Oh gosh. I love a quiet Sunday. Right now mine are crunching on their apples which, sadly, is anything but quiet.
I love these posts! I love the reading! I love the books! I love the paper airplanes. Andrew's best valentine this year was a paper with directions to turn it into an airplane on the back. AWESOME! I hope the planes flew well and that the book reading allowed for lots of napping for you and Aaron. I see Hudson found another way to cover himself. It's SO FUN! I hope that potty training is going SUPER well!
In our family, that is always and AMEN!!
Ahhhhhh, peace and quiet. Think I'll go take a nap now.
Beautiful pictures. ANd yes and amen! Sunday's middle name is Nap.
AMEN and Preach it Sista!!! right with you !!
I'll give you both.......
Amen!
Preach it sista!
I don't know which joke to make here. That you obviously bought the "My Baby Can Read" curriculum, or that I am all kinds of relieved to see that silly bandz (with a 'z' because they are just that silly) have made it to Haiti? So many jokes, so little time...
I like your reading boys. That makes a momma happy!
When the kids are home from school for the day, whether it be a weekend or weekday, we always have 'rest and read' time after lunch. Mom determines how long this is (usually according to how long her nap is, which being a night shift nurse varies day by day). Sometimes they do this in their bedroom, sometimes in the living room where I am napping. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Rest and Read time! Gives me a break in the middle of the day to read, nap, bask in the (hopefully) quiet. They may choose to rest or read and sometimes they even fall asleep!
Sweet pictures! I love your sons wrist with the multitude of silly bands on it:)
thanks for the reminders of "simple life", paper airplanes and reading! LOVE IT!
