Collecting Cereal Boxes?

We wanted to give a huge thanks to so many of you who have sent cereal boxes for the Apparent Project.

As of right now, our family is no longer able to accept shipments of cereal boxes for this incredible ministry.  We will be heading home to Texas for the summer while our housing gets lined out for next year in Haiti.  On average it has been taking 1 month for the cereal boxes to get to Haiti.  A month from now we will be in Texas.  Which means...your boxes will come to Haiti and may or may not get to the Apparent Project.

If you have a ton of cereal boxes you have been saving and your heart just dropped, cheer up little logging train.  Does anyone else remember that book or do I just sound flat weird?

There is another way to ship your boxes!

A lady named Cami has written out the details on her blog.

For more information about collecting cereal boxes for the Apparent Project you can get caught up here.

Phew! I am one of those whose heart just dropped. We've been saving boxes since you first mentioned the project and our box of boxes is finally full. It's about 20 lbs of boxes and we are ready to ship next week. I'm so glad I caught your post before I shipped and that there is another way to get them to Haiti. We keep coming across boxes of different colors and think, "Wouldn't that make a pretty bead?!" We have a new box every other day or so, so the project has been on our minds for months. What a blessing to be a small part of it. Thank you!

Perfect! I've been continuing to collect boxes since sending some over in December, but I wasn't sure what to do with them. Now I know! Thanks :)
